Aspire BVC Coil Head for All Aspire BDC Clearomizers and Davides and Kanger Protanks fitted with the Adaptor!!
Coil Resistance: 1.8ohm / 2.1ohm
Aspire BVC Coil guidelines:
Aspire BVC (Bottom Vertical Coil) coil heads have been developed to improve the vapour production and taste of the standard tanks. So much so that other manufacturers are using the Aspire heads in their Tanks. The Anyvape Davide for example is a hugely popular tank but they have chosen to develop that tank further to allow for the fitting of the Aspire BVC head. (Details of the Davide can be found here). There are also adaptor rings to fit the Kangertech Protank series that allow for the retro fitting of the brilliant Aspire BDC coil. Adaptor ring details can be found here
Aspire BVC Dual Coils come in 1.8ohm and 2.1ohm. 1.8ohm is more suitable for EGO style batteries they heat up fast and require less power. the 2.1ohm will last longer on an EGO battery but can take higher voltages and wattage. Some customers say the 2.1ohm gives a slightly smoother Vape but I haven’t noticed that.
To change your coil:
If you notice the Vapour production diminishing and the flavour becoming muted its probably time to change your coil. before you do if you can up the voltage or wattage try that first as that can often burn off some of the residue on the coils. To replace the coils turn your tank upside down having removed it from your battery or mod. unscrew the base. Dry off the old coil with a tissue or paper towel just so you can grip the head easily and unscrew it from the base. re fit the new coil. reassemble the base to the tank. Now rest the tank in the upright position preferably on the Mod and give it a few minutes to soak up the juice before vaping.
These are rebuild able but they are tiny and can only be done by pixies!!
